The Atherton Tablelands is a spot just outside of Cairns not to be missed! These legends from Barefoot Tours offer a fun filled, chilled out cruisy day seeing some of the most beautiful locations in the tablelands including incredible waterfalls, lakes & rainforests. These guys do things a little bit different and want to make sure you see amazing spots but without the rush and crazy timeframes, you’ll have plenty of time to chill, relax & appreciate the beauty of the nature and the sites around you {they are the no 1 tour in Cairns for a reason! – we love that chilled vibe}

You’ll be able to do things out of the ordinary for sure and will be able to swim in a volcanic lake at Lake Eacham, slide down a natural waterslide at Josephine Falls {even mother nature gets it!} and take a dip under one of the beautiful waterfalls such as Millaa Millaa Falls. Seen ‘the’ hair flick photos? Millaa Millaa falls is your spot! It’s also where a certain cheesy 90’s pop star sung Mysterious Girl….. Also featured in many a hair commercial, we told you it’s a beautiful spot!

If you’re not a fan of water, don’t worry, there’s still plenty for you to see and do. Check out loads of awesome photo opportunities, try and spot some rainforest wildlife such as cassowaries & tree kangaroos, sunbathe surrounded by World Heritage tropical rainforest, or just relax and have fun!

The Barefoot crew totally get food, and we love that! Enjoy both morning and afternoon tea with locally grown tea and coffee, and Cadbury’s Hot Chocolate {Brits will be happy}! Lunch is a picnic with local fresh bread, salad options, meat platter, & fruit platter. However, our regular Highlights are: Lake Eacham, Dinner Falls, The Crater, Josephine Falls, Millaa Millaa Falls, Cathedral Fig Tree, Plus a few special optional stops depending on time!!
