Ever wanted to visit of of the worlds best beaches? Well here in the Whitsundays you can!
Whitehaven Beach is the hotspot of the Whitsundays and can be explored on a sailing trip from Airlie Beach. You’ll kick back on a sailing boat or catameran for a few days, relax, snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef, watch incredible sunrises and sunsets, have a drink under the stars and be looked after by the crew.
Up there on most backpackers bucketlists! One of the great wonders of the world the Great Barrier Reef is a beaaaaauty and best explored by scuba diving!
Not scuba dived before? No problem, all of the tour boats offer introductory dives with a guide and we can get these at a great deal. Check out the corals, sharks, turtles and a massive array of fish.
Fraser Island is a beaaaaaauty just off the coast of Queensland, north of Brisbane. The world largest sand island is home to the dingo (keep away from these bad boys), freshwater lakes, tea tree lakes, massive sand dunes, shipwrecks and rainforest.
This spot is best explored by 4WD on a tagalong tour with DropBear Adventures or Nomads. Spend 3 days camping under the stars with a group of legends!
Seen pictures of these little smiley dudes? Part of marsupial family, you’ll find these guys on Rottnest Island just off the coast of Perth.
Hire a bike to cruise the island and try and get a selfie with them, we reckon that they are probably one of the most photogenic creatures you’ll ever meet!
Get your crew together, get a campervan or car, get your playlist ready and hit the road RatPack Roadie style and explore the Great Ocean Road! This trip is insane and one of our favourites.
Head from Melbourne along the coast with your last spot being the 12 Apostles for sunset, you’ll visit some amazing beaches, great view points and stop off at Kenneth River to spot Koalas and parrots.
A once in a lifetime experience over in Western Australia and one NOT to be missed. Whale Sharks are incredible mammals and only found in a few spots around the world, head on a swimming tour with one of the ethical companies in Exmouth.

The heart of Australia and a unique rock formation like no other! This huge red rock will leave you baffled as its right out in the outback of Aussie and is a deep red!

Mission Beach is the HOME of beach landings, a unique way to make your skydive that little bit more intense (as if it didn’t need making more intense).
Jump from 15,000ft and see the Rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef and land on the sand! A feeling like NO other, yewwwwwwww
We might be biased because this is the home of RatPack Travel, BUT the bay is the heart of all things Aussie beach life. Beaches for days, unreal views, dolphins (and sharks) every where, and the music scene is awesome!
You might have seen the Hemsworth boys posting about their lifestyle here in the bay and we can confirm its legit.
Learn to surf here with the legends at Black Dog surfing, they are legends and will get you up standing in NO time.
Did you even go to Australia if you didn’t get a picture with a Kangaroo??
Obviously you can see these guys in the wild but we don’t recommend hassling Roo’s in the wild! Get yourself to one of the Sanctuarys, either Horizon in Agnes Water or Lone Pine in Brisbane to get up close to Kangaroos that are being looked after.
